Considering we started the season unranked, if we get to the playoffs as the 10 seed and a regional host that it would be pretty damned impressive.
Also... man, I remember when Virginia was a baseball powerhouse. What happened to them?

They've gone to Omaha 3 of the last 4 years. Brian O'Connor is a really good coach. It's still early.. but maybe they are young this year.

There's probably less than a one percent chance that the NCAA would ever give the SEC 10 of 16 host sites.

Agreed. I have a hard time believing that we will get 6 national seeds also..

Well it means they are doing a really good job.. and it also means that if your coach does leave, you won't have to sell the next coach as hard on the opportunity.. because it's been proven now in both baseball & basketball.

I'm good with any regional as long as Missouri State isn't in it. We've had hell with them guys for years.
