Not surprising. Mizzou was such a dumpster fire scrapping the whole team and giving up on 2016 was probably the only realistic option.

With what should be a salty defense Mizzou can be dangerous if their offense has a pulse. I don't think all the pieces to the puzzle are there for a run at the East title but a 6-7 win season is doable and if I'm a bowl director with an SEC/Big 12 matchup Missouri would be a tempting target.

I do agree, When Jancek got the boot I was really hoping we'd offer Odom. Granted, I'm stoked we pulled Shoop so I think it's a wash.

Anyway, I'm really interested to see the product Mizzou puts on the field this year. After last year, if they can put together a winning season under a new (inexperienced) HC, there will be quite a few people taking notice.
Honestly, it would be fun to watch.
