He is one of my favorite non lsu players. Smart, classy, and just competes. He is a great lineman and I hope he has a long career in the league. For the saints. I also hope that career begins next year.

john hannah was one of the all time greats at alabama, his brothers were pretty good also. (j.h. did pretty ok in the nfl, also) if they were beefed up and trained to the 2000's standards, they would still be dominating players.

but, barrett jones is a very good and very smart player. no need to compare.

Played against him in high school, he was actually a better defensive lineman from what i remember the couple times we played them. I have vivid memories of him just falling on me and crushing me as a RB.
