Spent substantial time in NYC, worked it for about 5 years, been to all borroughs.
Also been to third world countries.

Also been to Haiti... Lived in New Orleans and Memphis.

I saw that. 13 year old boys. What frick were middle-schoolers doing out that late to begin with let alone attempting to rob someone? Jesus. I'm the last person to blame the parents but where the frick were they?!

Should be tried as an adult, and have book thrown at them, never see daylight etc..... these punks who do these horrendous actions need severe punishment regardless of young age showing them and society that there is accountability for one's actions. It was not a crime of passion, for someone that age to simply decide to end someone elses life, in my mind there is no place in society for that kind of evil, age does not matter with a crime like that.

I'll tell ya this I'm not a country boy, but I am southern.
My first year here was a struggle. Much faster paced, a lot smarter/tougher (in my industry) etc.
I had to adapt.

My daughter just moved to NYC a month ago to pursue a dream. I just got back from visiting her on Tuesday. I sent her a link to this story yesterday. Keep your eyes up, be aware, look forward and around not down at your phone, avoid going out alone...
