Yeah right, no one has said anything about Ingram not deserving the Heisman.
Are you or are you not on here now, like many others are - downplaying this kid's achievments? Achievements that are similar yet superior to Bo's Heisman season.

Y'all are so predictable.

I've known for years that if/when Alabama ever had a player win the Heisman, it wouldn't be enough that he won. He would immediately be declared the BEST Heisman winner EVER, and that immediately the Bo-bashing would start.

Bo could still push Ingram into the ground like a thumbtack, and you know it's true. Just be happy that you finally got a winner.

No one has said that shite. But if the cow-pumpers want to talk about Ingram being one of the worst Heisman winners, the facts bear out that he had better stats than the face of their program did in his Heisman season.

Well, this is undeniably true.

Go read what I posted....it was a response to a thread about Pat Sullivan, I commented that Bo Jackson laughs at all other Heisman winners, except Herschel. Why would I say that? It has nothing to do with Auburn, or the fact that Ingram is from Bama and won. It's because Bo Jackson is possibly the greatest athlete in the last 30 years.

You can pull stats that say Ingram out rushed him...fine...but you have to take into consideration the one less game played. If you are going to bring up the fact that Ingram sat out 3 halves, then you better make sure that Bo played every down.

Ingram deserved the Heisman, I have never said different. If there are Auburn people who make fun of it, I can't control that....anymore than decent Bama fans can control the lunatic/asshat statements that come out of some of y'alls fans mouths.

Sarcasm meter broken?

There are a shite ton of heisman winners that were <than MI.
I'm glad NOLA brought out the stats vs BO. It's surprising. Especially knowing he is AU's greatest accomplishment bar none. Also, the OP provided the stats for their 2nd greatest achievement sullivan.

Why do bammers ALWAYS have to compare themselves to Aubies. Why do you always have to try to measure up. First the bammers want to compare ingram to Sullivan. Then they want to compare him to possibly the greatest athlete that has ever lived. The bammers in this thread are a big joke for the most part.

Mark Ingram isn't worthy of wiping Bo Jackson's arse. Bo Jackson didn't have a father in jail to soften up Heisman voters, and he missed just as much time as Ingram, PLUS an entire game.

Ingram is a great kid. But he is NO Bo Jackson. As far as Heisman winners go...Ingram is unimpressive. And everyone knows that trophy belongs to a particular white boy in California.

Come on, people. I'm taking nothing away from Ingram, but he is no Bo. The only people I can think of off of the top of my head that are equal are better than Bo from the last 30 years are Herschel and Barry Sanders.
