McClain and Hightower are very deserving of honors they get. They are both future first round draft picks. Cody does what he is asked to do, take up space. I could care less what his stats say. He'll be a first rounder as well. He may very well have been had he came out in the 2009 draft.

Cody for sure. I do not care what bammers say, I think he is vastly overrated. I think he does a good job of taking up space and being difficult to move, but that is about it. Sure, that is all that is asked of him, but I disagree there are not more deserving nose tackles for AA honors.
Hightower is not one of the top couple of guys in the country at his LB position either. There is no way. Maybe by the time he is a senior, but not now.

He was a consensus freshman All-American in 2008. Is it that hard to agree that he can take the next step like Rolando did? These are preseason lists, and are based mostly on anticipated progress, as many of last season's top guys have graduated or left early for the NFL. There's no reason to get bent out of shape about this, as some Auburn fans seem to be. We'll either show we can build on a 12-2 season, or we won't. These guys played on a great team last year, its not that hard to figure out that some recognition is going to be thrown around.

...and lets not forget that Javier Arenas and Juilo Jones were also on an All-American list. Playboy named Julio, Javy, as well as Rolo to their annual team.
