Yes, that's how he earned a scholarship.

Just telling you from first hand experience. He had a ton of upside. Strength, especially upper body, was ridiculous. If he got his hands on you you were fricked. But more times than not he stood straight up and pretty much walked towards you when the ball was snapped.

Cameron Lawrence was MUCH more intimidating and a much better player. I hated playing against him.

Correct answer. But, the LT has the potential to be very, very wealthy in a couple of years.

Absolutely,he's just younger and not NFL ready today.
Warmack goes to any team and deserves to start day one.

We have a spoiled bunch of fans who are use to us having more push from the Oline when we were running a power run offense with a bunch of blocking TEs on the line. Back then they bitched that we couldnt throw the ball.

Now we put more wr's on the field so we can throw the ball and be balanced and they wonder why we cant run as well.

Cam Lawrence may be the most underrated defensive player in the SEC. That being said, he will probably be selling insurance this time next year. He is probably too slow to play in the NFL.

He'll be in the league for a year or two. He would be a great addition to a scout team. He's big enough and tough enough to take a beating for 500k a year.

I think this year's O-line is greater than the sum of it's individuals. The "best" is any given Saturday.

It's a shame he's not a little faster/ 15 pounds bigger. He works hard and plays tough. Hope he does well after he leaves.

incredibly overrated? there is a homer statement if i've ever heard one.

...there is a total consensus of nfl scouts that would at your assessment too. barrett will be the first lineman taken in the nfl draft. barrett isn't jamarcus russell . barrett will actually be well worth the investment.

if you ever want to be taken seriously, you need to learn a thing or two about assessing talent on the gridiron.

Many times, elite college and pro offensive linemen weren't the best in HS.

With better strength/conditioning and coaching on technique, players with certain measurables will develop into elite OL.

That's why recruiting OL is such a skilled trade.

BJ makes it easy for Steen. You can't be serious, and informatively proscribing this nonsense

Steen is sound in technique. Has been even last year, but isn't big and strong enough.

He can be bull rushed into a pancake by strong DTs. He's improved from last year.

He does great getting his hat on a linebacker in running plays. Get's help from Jones more than Warmac.

Barrett Jones is the best Offensive lineman at Alabama. Will that translate to the pros? Who cares he's as good as any lineman at the college level.

you gotta say that Jones is the best lineman.

1. he won the outland last year.
2. he can play every position on the line. none of the other guys can do that

Much harder to be on "display" at center, than guard than tackle and Jones has excelled at all three. Jones is a monster.
