Bama’s AD slyly refuses to answer THE QUESTION twice in same interview

Alabama AD Greg Byrne spoke with Reece Davis and Pete Thamel on Wednesday soon after the release of Miller’s attorney’s statement. Before the interview began, Davis provided a serious misrepresentation of the situation.
Reece Davis: “Miller’s attorneys have released a statement in which they say Miller did not realize there was a gun in the car.”
No Reece, the statement did not say that. Not even close. Why did Reece lead off with such a serious misrepresentation in Miller and Alabama’s favor right before interviewing the Bama AD? Was it because Reece couldn’t read or is it because he’s a Bama grad?
Now on to the interview with Bama AD Greg Byrne.
Thamel: “So you’re saying he was simply going to pick him up and he was not going to deliver the gun?”
Byrne: “He was going to pick him up. Darius had been asking Brandon for over an hour to come pick him up.”
Yes, Byrne, we all know the story Miller was going to pick him up. Why avoid the part of the question that hasn’t been answered (the important part)? Did Miller know he was going to be delivering the gun to someone who had specifically requested the gun and indicated there was an altercation or potential altercation happening?
Davis: “Is it your assumption Brandon Miller did not read that text message before, and if so, why are you secure in that belief?”
Byrne: “I didn’t say that he didn’t read it before. What I said is that he had received text messages from Darius over the course of an hour to ask him to come pick him up.”
Again, Byrne didn’t answer the question. Byrne pretended Davis said something he didn’t say and dodged the question.
At this point, the most reasonable conclusion is that the silence on THE QUESTION from the DA, police, Miller’s attorney, and Byrne is that the silence is an admission by omission. If this is in fact the case, then:
1. Miller received a text message from Miles in the middle of the night requesting the gun and indicating there was an altercation or potential altercation.
2. Miller read the text and then delivered the gun.
3. Upon delivery, the gun was promptly used to kill an innocent woman.
4. The DA, the University of Alabama, the SEC, and the NCAA are sitting idly by while the man who supplied the gun that killed the innocent woman faces zero disciplinary action.

I really don’t care what this board thinks about Alabama or Miller.
It’s either trolling or virtue signaling.

The version of events promulgated by Alabama and Miller's attorney simply does not add up.

Never thought I'd see the day pig fans are melting like LSU and barn fans over Bama.
Sure looks like Oates has them terrified.

Welcome to the real world bitch, where Bama is in charge and calls the shots. Shut the frick up and be grateful we let your backwoods state have a seat at the table.

If Byrne and oats are so sure about him having no wrong doing (as they have stated before), so why with the massive amount of negative press against the university have they not detailed it?
Ie “he did not read the text before, he did not drive them away, he did not transport a gun on campus, etc”
From the get go it feels like they have been doing damage control to keep their star player on the court. Early on they were emphatic that they had enough information to determine he had nothing to do with it and for him to keep representing the university then just now they said they had no idea about the text. So which is it?
It would be very easy for them to detail why he has no wrongdoing. So why aren’t they doing it? There has to be something negative or else they would not be going to the lengths that they are to prolong the situation with Miller.
Are they just choosing to not defend their star player or is there more to come and they are just trying to see if they can last beyond the tournament?
