Would have loved to see them against Ok St. The world would know how far the SEC has really separated itself from the pack.

I think to really compare you might need to also look at the offense. I think our offense this year was a lot better than the offense of 92'. Having a poor offense puts pressure on the defense so if the numbers are even close you have to lean heavy to the defense that also had the worst offense. That would be 92'. I remember thinking why doesn't the defense get mad at the offense for putting them in such crappy situations? But I think they liked playing defense so much they really didn't care how well the offense was playing. It was an amazing attitude to have. So, I have to give it to the 92' De.

Didn't Georgia State score 21 points? So, >20 points scored should be 1.

Yeah you gotta disregard the team that ruins your stats.

What about losses?

Compared to next year's season end figures those stats will pale, Hightower,Kirkpatrick,& Upshaw prevented the Capstone from reaching full potential.I realistically see The Tide D allowing less than 100 points before the NCG vs USC

Scored on the D only or including Special Teams scores. Didn't GA Southern have ST TD?

Offenses are lot more dynamic than they were in '92 also. I think '11 is the best I've seen. Most people say '92 for nostalgic reasons just like they think Palmer was a better punt returner than Javy.

Let's not cloud our march to number 16 with silly Georgia Southern stats

Yes... Kickoff returned for a TD. So the stat sheet is correct.

The offenses Bama played this year weren't that great outside of Arkansas. Idk about the offenses they played in '92.

One of their TDs was on a return.
