Doesn't delpit have a broken ankle?
No.
He tweaked his ankle in the game against Auburn and tried to go back in and the trainers told him to sit. He'll be back next week going full speed.

Delpit is legit overall. He, like all LSU DB's could teach a master class in holding without being called for it...but I digress.

Bigger question is whether 85% Delpit can cover vertically against that kind of speed.
I do not think so, he has coverage skills, but they are not elite. He is much better around the line.

Our inexperience at LB and having TF man the middle of the defense will be our Achilles heel. If Tuas not better than 90% I don’t think Bama will be able to keep up. I think it’s close but I’m not shocked if LSU wins this year. This game was a toss up before Tua was hurt.

Are we even sure Delpit is healthy? He left the game and limped out of the stadium after the AU game.

I believe but I also think on the road in a pick em game it’s gonna be tough to win. I just don’t see how we stop that WR group w Tua. I hope I’m wrong for sure.
