And let’s face it if u watch close we are a different D when he’s around the box. When he has to cover it changed the way Aranda schemes. We have Jacoby Stevens who is kinda that hybrid backer / S but he struggles mightily in coverage. Outside of Fulton & Stingley we are littered with freshman inexperience. Cordale Flott has been hurt I believe and if we had him back if feel better. He’s no Stingley but had moxie as a freshman that the others don’t have. With Tua I don’t see us winning. I do think we hang with them but eventually Bama will pull away. They know this game is their “quality win” they need to shut ppl up about the schedule.

Bigger question is whether 85% Delpit can cover vertically against that kind of speed.

Aranda can take all kinds of chances knowing he has a safety who can prevent a 20 yard completion from turning into 7.

You come a step slow against those WRs and a 7 yard slant is a now a 70 yard TD.

Similar questions though for Bama if LSU can scheme the ILBs into having to cover CEH and others in space.

You need to remove your LSU logo because if you don’t believe in THIS team, you never will

I think CEH and Thad Moss are keys to LSU staying in the game. Attack the Lbers in flats and inside 10 yards. Saban will take away the deep threat away. He knows Joe is too good down the field. I think Joe will hit a few but ultimately he will have to dink and dunk and it will work but bama will have more explosive plays. I see a 34-24 type game. Maybe a late score makes it look worse but for 3q bama fans will be a little nervous

I mean both teams have elite WRs if either QB has time both secondaries are in trouble.

Pressure on the QB will be the difference!

Bama is going to come out in some type of 3-3-5 or 4-1-6 with extra DB/S all over the field, they are not going to let Moss and CEH beat their ILBs who they know are the weak link!

Oh and down vote, no chest!

That's what I expect, this game will come down to who can get a few stops or force FG's, margin for error is slim!

Should be a great game and chess match!

Delpit looks slow. I know he can't tackle for shite. What is he actually good at?

He looks like a liability more than an asset against Bama. Outside of hitting Tua in the nuts last year he was bad to forgettable. Hitting Tua in the nust did cost Bama a TD.

Unless LSU can't keep the DL off of Burrow, they are going to have a lot of success against that Bama D.

On the road I think we lose but I still have faith we get in the playoffs and gave a shot at winning it all.

Delpit is not having the season I expected him to have but is still a key player in LSU secondary against Bama. Last year we keyed off him, if he was one on one we threw at him.

I think as long as we can locate him prior to the the snap he will have little impact. Hopefully we can get Najee and Robinson going and bring him into box as extra run stopper and create true one on one matchups with our WRs.

LSU ain’t going to no playoffs if we drop this game. BAMA maybe makes it if they lose but LSU will not unfortunately

Kary Vincent will have to play his best game as a Tiger. He's our track star in the nickel and can run with anyone in the country (legit NCAA star in track).

He's just out of position a lot, so like I said, he needs to fix his shite.
