Dude don't base LSU's performance on State's crappy game day. Sure Bama is capable of beating LSU but just because State got hammered don't hate! I bet you thought yall would win or at least make a game of it. Just get ready because Nov 10 State will lose again!

1. It is amazing to me how aweful States' Schedule was intill now. The only Teams you played with a winning record till now were, Jackson St, Troy, and Southern Alabama. Exposed.
2. Alabama has played two ranked teams all year. And neither of them are LSU's equal IMO
3. I don't think Alabama's Defense is as good as last year. YOu don't lose Upshaw and Hightower (2and 3 year starters) and jsut expect to be as good.
4. Alabama hasn't played a real defense yet. I don't think they can pass on us, and i don't think they can run on us. THis is going to be low scoring either way.

This game will come down to turnovers and big plays.
Also, we have to be better in the redzone and we can't miss field goals.
Bama is executing better in all phases right now and have momentum.
They also probably think they are as good as last year and remember dominating us in NO. Unfortunately, they don't have game film and motivation for a month to prepare. We have the motivation and the extra time. And it's at home where we have proven to play much better than on the road.
We will have to play our best game to win, but who says Bama will respond well in this environment?

Some of us remember the exact same talk in 2010, FWIW.
You know- 'which NFL team could Bama beat, blah blah blah, etc. etc.....'
It's football. Nothing is a sure thing. The best teams sometimes lose for a variety of reasons. It happens.
I just want to see both teams bring their A Game, and see where it all falls....

again, what's your point? They're not being asked to stop the patriots, just lsu. And statistically, yes they're basically just as good. They do some things better and some things not as well as a year ago.

My point is you have looked good all year, but not really been tested at all. I don't think Michigan is that good team, and the next ranked team you played was MIss St. So, saying that you will steamroll us because you have steamrolled everyone else is dumb.
MY other point is i don't think you will as strong against the run as you were last year replacing 500+ pounds of Quality linebackers. I know y'all are good, but stats are embellished when you play teams that aren't that good.
And of course i know you don't think we can do anything offensively, but i did say it would be low scoring all around.
