An Arkansas team without Brazille handled OU pretty well and I suspect Bama will win by 10 or more.
Man how did Arkansas lose to Bama?? This is embarrassing

Bama is getting run. Not a good look for the SEC.
But it will be in 28 years when we finally join.

Alabama was better before spending a month playing softer than babyshit (and just as stinky) SEC teams.

Got softened up by playing sorry teams like LSU

First win vs an AP top-2 team for OU since knocking off number 1 Kansas in 2002.
(Had lost 17 straight)
Sooners also snap Alabamas 13 game win streak vs unranked teams.

OU has a ton of recruits in town for Jumior Day so this whooping sure helps keep spirits high and students engaged in festivities.
To be honest I never saw this coming. Even up 17 at half I figured we’d find another way to lose. Never expected to increase lead in 2nd half.
These type wins can really change the direction of a program. Moser was struggling in year 2 and had lost close games then lost 2 recent games big. This win erases all that futility and could give players the confidence they needed.

According to my records, the #Sooners' 93-69 vs #2 Alabama today is the largest margin (24) vs a ranked team since 1/31/2000 vs #17 Texas (83-59, also 24).
It's also the largest margin for OU vs an @AP_Top25 Top 2 team in their history. Previous was 16 vs #2 Maryland 12/21/2001.

Here is a stat for you.
Grant Sherfield is only the 3rd guy in the last 25 years to have 30 points & 6 assists against a Top 25 team.
Those other two guys?
Buddy Hield & Trae Young both OU players

No. 2 Alabama lost by 24 POINTS to Oklahoma.
That's the largest margin of defeat a top-two team has EVER suffered to an unranked team.

I applaud the chant at the end!!!!
Just so you guys will know...In the state of Alabama, 100% of the tv's (aluminum foil rabbit ears) have either been shot, thrown through the windows or both. Wives have taken the kids and left the double wides until bubba settles down, dogs physically abused.
Watch your trees!!!!!

Yep. Apparently we needed it. Gut check time. I'm just glad it happened out of conference.
