QB: Georgia. Lambert put up a very impressive performance against the OBC. Although that Cock defense leaves a lot more to be desired, Lambert completion percentage is insane.

RB: Georgia. Talent wise you could try to make an argument about them being equal, but lets be honest Chubb is a beast. Henry can be a beast at times, but Lane just doesn't like to run the ball. 2nd and 2? "Frick you, Henry. I'm doing a jet sweep and if that doesn't work I'm going down field on 3rd down." The debut of Starbo has a lot of Bama fans excited, but we all know Saban won't play him even if he knows he could beast the Georgia D. Sony Michel vs. Drake seemed like a gimme for Drake in August, but Sony is balling and Drake is.... not so much.

WR: Wash. With Foster going down it hurts Bama a good bit. Stewart has been meh at best, but Mullaney has been as sure hand as advertised. Other than Malcolm Mitchell for Georgia, I don't know another of their receivers. I know they use Sony in the slot and he can go.

OL: Georgia. All you have to do is watch the Georgia running game and you will see the o-line is doing a pretty good job, unlike Bama's. The power running game was a staple in Bama's short lived run of dominance. It is almost as if Saban said, "Frick having these truck lane holes to run through." I really miss having Big Mike as an extra lineman and blowing teams off the ball.

DL: Bama. We all know this. Best front 7 in all the land. Will be interesting to see how the unmovable object stands up against the unstoppable force.

LB: Bama. The best compliment to the DL. They are fast and can cover in space. They seem a lot better from a year ago, of course though Big Fat Trey Depriest isn't back there so......

Secondary: Bama. Although they gave up 2 huge plays to Ole Miss, they have looked surprisingly good this season. Thats not to say they have faced any world beaters outside of Ole Miss. They tackle in space well and they seem to be able to cover. I honestly haven't seen that much of Georgia's offense. Every time I turned to the USCe game it seemed like Georgia was scoring.

ST: Georgia. Why? Bama's suck, that's why!

Keys: Bama has to do 2 things: Not turn the ball over and stop the run. If Bama can do these two things, they can win. Well maybe not win, but not get blown out. Bama has to force Georgia into 3rd and long and put together long drives that end in tds. If Geogria gets Bama off balance and attacks them with a successful passing game and counter with the run then Georgia will win easily. My hope is that Richt, Richts this game and hands it to Bama.

Looks pretty even. Hopefully no injuries and a hard fought game.

The best team UGA has played is Vandy. MTSU is favored over Vandy this weekend. Wisconsin has given up 3 points in the 3 games since losing to Bama. We'll see.

This is dead wrong. Yall have a great front 7, but our LB's are best in the nation.

Solid Analysis

However,

I think is a Wash at best. Our linebackers are fast and frightening to look at.

You guys don't have a lot of depth there. Imo you have two solid LBs in Floyd in Jenkins. Bama has far more depth and experience at LB.

By the power of transitive football, YOU ARE WRONG

UGA beat ULM by 37

Bama only beat them by 34

ergo, UGA by 3

See how easy this is?

Uh? 5* Lorenzo Carter (SO), 4* Davin Bellamy (RSo), UAB's leading tackler last year Jake Ganus (Sr), 4* Tim Kimbrough (Jr), 4* Reggie Carter (Jr), 4* Roquan Smith (TFr), 4* Natrez Patrick (TFr), and 4* JUCO transfer Chuks Amaechi (Jr) all beg to differ.

Solid analysis, agreed on most of your points except LB. I see that being pretty even, at least at OLB with UGA having Floyd, Carter & Jenkins and rotating some solid ILB's with Ganus, Kimbrough, etc.

Expecting a war in Sanford - has a chance to be a program-defining win for UGA if the Dawgs can overcome Saban and your incredibly talented team!

I don't agree with Drew that it's dead wrong, but I'd definitely say it's a wash, or maybe give us a slight edge. Carter's an animal and then Ganus has been really good. Bellamy's good off the edge as well. Overall it's really good analysis IMO.

I am more concerned with you thinking your secondary is better than you thinking your linebackers are better. Overall really good solid post though.

Key to the game. Can UGA stop Bama's off tackle runs? That has been a weak spot for us last year and we haven't really seen a team run the ball yet so we'll have to wait for this weekend.
