Exactly the point I was about to make.. one stat you left out vs UK...
UF - 63
UK - 5
'Bama - 17
UK - 14
Rack up all the stats you want but I'd take a W. Now 'Bama does get the Ole Miss scoreboard.. but UGA, LSU, UT go to the Gators.

Idk, just something tells me bama has no chance against florida.. I'll definitly watch it and i'll be rooting for tebow

why don't you do a score comparison? when's the last time bama blew out 5 sec teams in a row the way that UF has? selectively pulling stats doesn't really show much other than homerism

I'd admit the gators have done something the Tide hasn't this year. They lost at home.

Oh lord! You bammers are classic!
I have seen all the top teams in the country play. UF is right there as the best IMO.
Bama is going to end the final rankings around 4- 6 final rankings 1 loss...Looks like you get an easy draw in the sugar bowl
UF is at least 2 TD's better than Bama if they play well..
LSU is better than Bama if we had an average servicable QB...UF has a Heisman winner, a better D, and faster RB's..When they are clicking, they are about impossible to stop..
But Nick is a great defensive coach, he will have them ready.

Bama has a bad characteristic of playing at the level of their competition. As anyone on this board will tell you, every team Bama has played this year has been overrated. Maybe when we finally get some competition, you'll see how good this Bama team is.

i don't know why you bama fans keep going on about this. clemson was obviously overrated and arky, UT, LSU, and AU are all having down years. bama is really good, but you've definitely benefitted from some of the teams on your schedule having down years

Nick having them ready, and Nick being able to stop them are two different things. We were ready vs. Iowa in the 04 bowl game, yet we couldn't stop them. Bama was ready for LSU this past weekend, and frankly they couldn't stop our offense...it stopped itself.

I've seen both teams play live and Florida is clearly the better team in all phases.

You posted all of that and the game between you and Florida can still be summed up as Florida Whoops Bama Arse!
It's gonna happen. For the sake of the SEC, I pray you guys don't have to represent us in the NC game vs. a Big 12 team.

I'm not saying anything about Florida but I actually think Bama matches up pretty well with Texas Tech. Guess which team held Tech to lowest points and almost won with inferior team - Pelini and Nebraska!
I would be a little weery of Bama playing Oklahoma because from what I saw of Bama against LSU, OU could light up the Tide based on their QB play with their strong running game.

lies, damn lies, and statistics. That being said any team has a chance on any given saturday. I highly doubt either team wins by more than 14 but well see. No team will lose by 40.

Scoop, do yourself a big favor and bet big $$ on Florida. If Bama wins, you'll be so happy you won't care about losing the bet an if Bama loses, you will at least collect some cash.
It is a solid investment and safer than the market.
That's actually a solid piece of advice. $10k would soften the blow a bit for me if we lost.

While y'all are at it, do a score comparison on how many times Bama has been blown out. I'm not saying that we will beat UF because I know it will be tough but I don't think they'll blow us out either like most think. Even during the years where we sucked, we hardly ever got blown out.
If we keep the game close (which I think we will), I think our OL will start to wear down their DL. They dominated LSU because they got up early and forced JL to throw and he made mistakes. However, LSU and UGA had success running against them. Both teams just shot themselves in the foot too much which can't happen with us if we expect to win.

Another left out stat:
UF scoring offense rank - 1
UF scoring defense rank - 1
Bama is like 3rd and 4th in the two category rankings in the SEC.
I will still take the team that kicks the shite out of their opponents by a much wider margin and leads the league in scoring offense and defense.
This is not 1992. The 1992 defense was one of the best in the history of college football. This one is about the 3rd best in the SEC this year only.

Really, your OL couldn't even do that against LSU this year. It wasn't a coinencdence that in OT Saban threw the ball on first down.
Florida is just a better team in all phases. Your Sr. qb vs Tebow is a huge mismatch. I can see this one looking similar to the Florida Arkansas game in 06.
