They don’t call it Snobb County for no reason.

You are trying to lecture us while pretending that Georgia is an elite university in the state of Georgia (it isn’t as already illustrated)

Athens might as well be on an island somewhere. It isn’t close to anything that has culture and no there is ZERO connection between Atlanta and Athens or the University of Georgia. How does UGA stack up to GT and Emory which are the premier learning Institutions in Georgia? I have two Degrees from Alabama. I own multiple franchises in Atlanta and all over South Florida. You are trying to invent and manufacture UGA having anything to do with Atlanta and it is pitiful. Won’t get any argument from me that Atlanta is a hub of activity but the University of Georgia has nothing to do with it. Those are just the facts.

Vols&Shaft, you must have a shiteload of time on your hands to be lurking on this board when your team didn't even make a bowl game. Heck, you lost to UK & Vandy! Give it up already. TN's irrelevant, dead, over. 0-8, laughing stock.

Bottom-feeders don't belong. Go back to your Jerry Sandusky site.

This is our sixth championship game in the last 9 seasons. This is your first in 35 years.

I will be at the game (my fourth championship game).

the Bama mind set is it happens about every other year.

THIS

Even after long droughts like 1992 or 2009, I didn't think for a moment that this was a once in a generation event (92, pushed it though).

You have just exposed yourself as the biggest idiot on this forum. But you are a Gump, after all. And you have zero degrees from Bama or any other institution. You live in a mobile home with your mother.

On the flip side.

If the United States Soccer team made a World Cup Final in my lifetime, even if they were massive underdogs, I'd do whatever in necessary to get a plane ride and a game ticket, because THAT is a safe once in a lifetime bet.

UGA out ranks every college in the state of Alabama by a pretty wide margin. Every single one.

Obviously you have never read the criteria they use to rate the schools, most of it has nothing to do with academics....

Good try though, but still an epic fail on your part

They is a reason why the top tech and top industries pick Alabama. On top of that Alabama has one of the largest research parks in the world. So somebody outside of Alabama (with more than a reasonable IQ) picks Alabama every time.

Atlanta is basically a transportation hub, people coming there to go someplace else. Georgia and Atlanta are not destination points.

Emory is a private school, which means it's in another category. UGA and Tech are close to the same ranking. I know folks from Alabama don't know a whole lot about education, but it really does exist. You all should look into it.

Coach Saban prefers neutral site games. Alabama has played FSU (2), Michigan, West Virginia, Wisconsin, USCw, Clemson, Virginia Tech (2) (with Louisville and Miami (Fl) scheduled for the future), during Coach Saban's 11 seasons at Alabama. It is like a bowl game to start the year (although the FSU in 2007 was in the middle of the year.)

You tell me which is more impressive, maybe playing two P5 teams home and home during a players time at Alabama, or playing 4 different P5 teams? It is one of the reasons why Alabama recruits so well......

Yet it is Huntsville and Alabama that have the better high tech and research industries..... like I said Georgia is a passing through state, no reason to stop.

You can't even turn on the local Atlanta channels without reports about UGA playing in the title game. Damn amateurs.

This is the strangest national championship gameday trash talk I've seen in a long time.

It hasn't been 40 years for all of us.

Didn't Auburn/Oregon set records for ticket prices despite the game being in Arizona?

Weird - it's almost like fans pay up when the opportunity comes around.
