I never talked to anyone who wanted Lacy over Richardson.

It's a luxury to be able to be on those trains. No other SEC backfield is as talented as Bamas year in and year out imo

I don't know of anyone who thought that Lacy should be behind Yeldon.
As far as Ingram - Richardson, they were one of the best one-two punches in college football. Each just brought a little something different. TRich was the burner (at the time), Ingram the bruiser.
Lacy was a bit of both, and that spin move made more than a few future NFL players look foolish. We all loved Lacy.
Yeldon is a good back, but lacks power to the hole and has ball security issues. The fumbles are the main reason a lot of Bama fans are looking to the other backs. The one against A&M could easily have cost us the game, if the offense had not scored the very next drive.

fair enough that one was a stretch.
thinking back on it up until this year bama has always had a really dominant o line and ran the ball a lot more (at least it seemed like it). I think the 2nd string guys were coming in when the defense was absolutely beat the hell up and thats why you see guys like Lacy avg something crazy like 8 yards a carry

You obviously don't know that Bama plays the 2nd string RB from the beginning of the game. 3rd string is end of the game. Back-up does not get a tired defense.

but am I the only one who notices this?
Nope, this phenomenon has never been observed by anyone else about Bama, or any other team in the country. You, Sir, are a genius.

Maybe its because I live around and work with so many Alabama fans (who for the most part can take off their Crimson glasses at least for a moment).
