Yes, Saban has thought about his many times in the last couple of days. Saban feels that LSU fans love him, except for that one time when he left the team to coach at Alabama.
He remembers vividly how the the whole LSU fanbase, for almost two decades, turned on him viciously and wished him nothing but harm and bad luck and bad health and ridiculed him at every opportunity.
If not for that, Saban would likely be at LSU as we speak. That and the fact that he has told friends and family that Baton Rouge is a sinking, stinking rotten pit of despair and desperation that smells like a literal busted septic tank much of the time.
One recurring idea he floats to many people is that he would consider coaching LSU again if the football team could be moved to New Orleans.
