Bama fans, why no "SEC" chant after beating FSU?

Y'all had a pretty loud crowd, was it just because they almost came back to win it in the bottom of the 9th? Their fans needed to be knocked down a peg or two and y'all did just that but the SEC chant would have been nice to hear.

Because that's gay as shite. The only people that should be chanting "SEC" are the lower rans who need to prop up the conference they play in since apparently cheering for their own school isn't good enough.

It's not hard to figure out. We are a "football first and foremost" fanbase. To chant "SEC, SEC" to the team that ended the streak would be strange.
That, and also to show our appreciation for blocking the atrocity that would have been an auburn national championship. Only one of those in a generation is tolerable.

The "SEC" chant should be reserved for teams like OSU who are ranked high every year due to playing in a weak conference, yet are actually mediocre. FSU backed up their smack talk by ending the SEC streak.

Pretty much this. Even though I was embarrassed when we did the SEC chant in the Sugar Bowl. And OU promptly threw it right back in our faces.

Scrap the SEC for ALL situations in ALL sports. It serves no real purpose anymore.
