Not sure what Dan Lanning gains by going to Bama

Come on man. Bama is a brand and the heart of CFB talent is in the South.

I'd be happy with a Lanning hire. The guy has fire and high football IQ.

Too many jet sweeps, momentum killing cute plays, no defense, and going for it on 4th too often. No thanks

Hell of a coordinator though. Would take him back in a heart beat with a HC that will provide appropriate adult supervision

Seems like Dabo has lost his luster

Dabo was never the answer. He’s an arrogant idiot.

To answer your question, I don’t really know.

Sad thing is that it's always changing as who to be the next coach.
Today, it's Lanning . By the end of the year, it'll be someone else

Hi lsutit and 99 if I was a allabama fan I would be e mailing mal more in the athaletic department too let him know he should consider hireing urban mayers he is a good coach he made some mistake’s but I think he is a god fearing man and deserve’s a second chance I am not a professionel coach hirer so I do not know if this is the right move I just think mayers coach’s the game the right way and graduate’s players and is classy

i'm fairly certain that at least half of the things you mentioned regarding 'mayers' is total BS.
God fearing? the Lord knows.
classy? have you not seen the videos of him diddling the chick in the bar?

i'm certain his wife has!

not to mention his fake medical issues.

i do think he would be a good fit for Gumpville though.

It's always funny to me how Bama fans actually think they can offer something that other elite programs can't yet they can never put their finger on what it actually is.

It doesn't at Alabama either.

I mean Gene Stallings was basically forced out after winning a natty.

Never Dabo. He refuses to use the portal. That's what is hurting his team now.

Alabama is T-5th all time for NFL draft picks and that's after a ridiculous run by Saban.

There is nothing special about Alabama that puts it above any other program if you're a head coaching candidate, other than history.
