We ran about 2 run plays, almost no motion, no counters, hardly any traps, no playaction
I agree with this.

We slept walked through that game and won by 25.

I don't want to say sleep walking because the defense showed up for sure minus one missed tackle by Trey DePriest. I think the O-Line really just needs to gel. Look at what happened against WKU last year and how our line ended up.

In all the revenge game Alabama has had, nick Saban always calls for the ball first and ALWAYS uses the pass to set up the run first. In fact, he also operates out of the spread more as well. Expect Alabama to take shots early and to be very aggressive in play calling

we didnt run any plays to force vt to change their defense. ie, screen passes, draw plays, quick hitches. our ol had to man up while being outnumbered in the box. had we not went up 21-7 i think our scheme would have been a bit different. but then again, we may just be that bad

Anyone who watches nick Saban football knows he get really conservative when the game is not threatened. That's not to say there isn't a drop off from last year but saban has no problem with 3 runs and a punt. I think you will see a much different ganeplan and execution for Atm. Saban knows he needs to score at least 30 points.

Logic is not welcomed here.

Well, I noticed Killen Williams at left guard quite a lot. Did the A. Kuandjo get hurt or was Saban rotating people, looking for a fit? Haven't seen this discussed. The pre-season depth charts didn't have K. Williams as a no. 2 at any OL slot.
