LSU fans are probably the biggest hypocrites of any fanbase. They are like the preacher who gets drunk and smokes crack when he's not preaching and no one's around.

This is wrong on many levels imo. LSU fans are in fact (recently at least), the OPPOSITE of arrogant. We are so self-loathing as a whole that we have people on the Rant legitimately hoping to lose our bowl game to put Miles back on the hot seat. I have heard several people reveal similar sentiments in person too. As far as LSU fans being "delusional," maybe in the sense that the sky is falling and we are going winless in the SEC next year, but not in the sense that Saban is bringing us to the Promised Land and will be the next Bear Bryant his first year at the helm. Now, which fans are more obnoxious, I have no idea. I would guess Bama currently, but that's because yall are taunting since you have the record to back it up. I'd imagine LSU fans would be similar if we were 12-0.

I just get tired of hearing shite about how great Bama is for shite when I wasn't even alive. I am 23.
The difference:

I don't see why opposing fans would care about our pessimistic attitude.

Every fan base is arrogant towards the anothers fanbase. Wins just increase arrogance. There is no difference between Alabama and other fanbases. The Alabama fanbase is a little bit more solid at the bottom with the lack of a professional outfit in-state; however the percentage of douchebags is the same (sorry impossible to calculate the numbers). Auburn unfortunately has a 100% douchebaggery fanbase

My opinion on this topic is totally biased because I live amongst the bammers.
Just my personal experience. I know all fanbases have their jackasses. I see em all the time in Tiger Stadium too. I feel that because I do go to alot of away games, I have an appreciation for the visitors to TS. The fans that act an arse usually have never been a visitor and just can't have that appreciation and respect for other fans.
I try to be an ambassador here. I always try to project an LSU guy that is respectful. With the stories I hear from Bammers (who have never been to TS but heard from a friend who heard). Most I invite down are honestly scared to visit TS and that is a shame. I think LSU gets an unfair rap most of the time.

Most of my Bama friends are silent as churchhouse mice (i.e. Steven4Bama). He knows what this means and not to display any arrogance before you've accomplished anything worth value on the national stage. Even if you do win, I expect S4B to "maybe" make an appearance on here and say a few prophetic words. He knows where you've been, where you are know, and the chances you get back to where you were in the glory days.
