Tua played very well and looked plenty healthy to suit up.

If this is going to be Bama’s excuse its a weak one. Bama scored 41 points. If that’s not enough to win at home you are not a playoff caliber team.

I realize the whole “1 leg” thing is complete bullshite, but there wasn’t anything negative in that post.

I see nothing wrong with his post. He’s a very good quarterback on a very good team and played not long after the surgery. My arse would still be in bed after that.

It doesn't bother me, but kind of throws shade at Jones and his little brother that he thinks he's head and heels better than them even with one leg.

Sorry, but you didn't see Burrow mention to a soul that he played with a separated shoulder on his throwing arm he sustained 2 days before the Bama game last year.

If you line up to play with an injury, you check your excuses. Period.

Burrow > Tua.

I find it pitiful that he would tell his coach he can play, have his coach go out and say he’s 100% and then make excuses for his bad plays!

Sad really!

Burrow would have never ever let on he was hurt like last year when he played Bama after separating his shoulder. Bama made Tua’s ankle into a complete thing of it’s own and now they want to use it as a crutch to the committee. Give me my qb all day long, he’s tough as nails and loves the big stage.

Tua seems like a great kid and he is a great player
I have nothing but respect for him and wish him a bright future
Won’t miss LSU having to play him, that’s for sure

He seemed to be limping more after the LSU game than he did while walking away from the game in which the injury actually happened.

Either way, kid does not need to make excuses. He played well enough to win vs most teams.

I don't have to imagine anything. I'm doing it! I think the dude throws as pretty a ball as it gets at the college level but I thought this looked like excuse making and honestly a little soft.

Bama, as per usual, WHINING to get what it wants.

Tua knew he was injured and as one poster said, Bama made a thing of it and they are going to use it as an excuse to plead their case.

Burrow played with a 2 day old separated shoulder on his throwing arm last year against Bama. He had a bad game but you never heard him or anyone from LSU say word number one about it or make excuses.

Burrow >>>> Tua
