And that Nick Saban seems like such a nice honest guy, and seems to really care about his players and coaches. It just warms my heart to see such a great humanitarian and pleasant person achieve so much, disproving the old adages that nice guys finish last, and that you have to cheat to win.

All the bama fans I know are great people who are quick with a helping hand, a cold brew, a fishing trio or hunting excursion when you need to get out of town. (Actually True but they are all grads.)

The best thing about bama fans is that they are everywhere in every state. I even see them regularly on TV news (often in cuffs being arrested) but I am sure that’s the exception not the rule. It’s really cool how few of them are actually alumni. They are so open about being a bama anyone can do it, no matter your sex, creed, preferences, record etc

And when I accidentally wore my LSU cap today no one sexually assaulted me, tried to killed my 100 year old live oak, or tried to kill me. All I got was dirty looks to remind me of my transgression, and “thanks from the construction worker at Lowe’s when I helped him find the right hidge, ( I correctly guessed by his bama hat that he couldn’t read or see the sizes. maybe he is retired ref) then “I like LSU but I hope we beat the hell out of you Saturday” Bama fans are so nice.
