We will be asking a LOT of you this same question after playing them.

We picked our poison basically. You have to contain Manziel and we didn;t do so badly there but when they use 5 wides you cant drop 7 or JFF kills you with his feet.

And even when you have good coverage he runs around long enough to get someone open and Evans is just a bad matchup for us anyhow.

We did enough on D to win. Got them to punt I think 3 times and got 2 picks

Our D has trouble matching up with that offense for sure - entirely due to Manziel/Evans.

That pick in the endzone still haunts me. The announcer kept saying bad throw. It wasn't that at all. The receiver needed to take 3 more steps and keep pushing his db into the corner.

He turned around so fast and the db took great advantage and took the space the receiver should have had in front of him.

Either that or JFF was supposed to throw a quick shot to his belly.

I still have not heard - but my guess is the wr just made a mistake and didn't finish his route.

Freaking Bama - As an LSU and A&M fan you have delivered some haunting, painful, gut wrenching fricking moments Ill give bastards you that.

I dot see how anyone blame the endzone INT on Manziel. If the receiver keeps running like he's supposed to, the worst that happens is the DBs forces an incompletion and it's second down.

The TV guy said and I heard on sports shows it was a bad throw.

That bad route stopped what a 98 yd drive. 2nd down on the 2. Could very well have cost us the big prize. That was turning point.

Literally makes my gut hurt.

It was clearly a corner fade route and Williams either gave up or ran the wrong route, but the ball was placed perfectly.

The other INT was just bad luck. The DB didn't see the ball at all, he just managed to tip it up and Sunseri was in position to make the play.

DB was still in the best spot for the pick over the wr.

The point is that if 6'5" JaQuay Williams just runs the right route, the worst thing that happens is an incompletion. Well thrown fade routes, by design, don't get picked off. That's really the point of throwing a fade, when run right its a guaranteed TD or incompletion down in an area where congested defenders make INTs more likely on typical routes.

Exactly, not saying Bama didn't capitalize - yall did.

But the route is to basically keep running the guy firm into the corner - turn around and catch it or incomplete. It was a horrible mistake.

But Bama made the play as given yes.

You're going to make me change my whole outlook on life if you keep making reasonable posts like this!

The freshman WR screwed that up. I think that was pretty clear. If he ran to the corner of the end zone instead of turning around and backpedaling it's either a TD or an incompletion on 2nd down. Hat's off to JFF for accepting the blame that to me clearly wasn't his - he just didn't want to throw freshman WR under the bus.

As for other post about whether Bama OL has improved or A&M DL is that bad - I think it's both, and unfortunately mostly the latter. Snyder will be earning his pay between now and Ole Miss game.

And can someone please walk on and replace Bertolet???
