I'm just going to reiterate...
The article plainly states they were arguing over Bama vs AU.
Then Bama fan in here says it was meth. The article makes 0 mention of meth. This poster has no idea who these people are, except that they are Bama and AU fans.
Then Bama fan Teague chimes in and refers to a crackpot theory over meth as "reality".
Gotta love the Bama fans on this board.

Maybe, but let's be honest. There are plenty of crazy people who take football way to seriously. While I am sure the individual had tons of issues, football could well be the vehicle used to unleash his crazy.
It has happened before, and will probably happen again.

*Bama fan poisons the trees at Auburn's Toomers Corner days after the Iron Bowl in 2010.
*Bama fan who sexually assaulted LSU fan after the 2011 National Title Game
*Two Bama fans started a fight in a Palm Beach bar following Bama's win over Texas A&M in 2013. One of the victims had life-threatening injuries. One Bama fan was charged in the incident.
*Bama fan murders fellow Bama fan after the 2013 Iron Bowl because the other Bama fan was "not a big enough fan".
*And now, Bama fan shoots Auburn fan in Mobile following argument over which team was better in 2017.

The excuse, "We all have our crazy fans" gets tossed around quite a bit, but I challenge any Alabama fan to find even one single incident such as the ones above involving a team of any other SEC school. The list above includes 10 incidents involving Bama fans and violent acts in the name of football fandom... resulting in multiple deaths and serious injuries.
