Bear Bryant's long gone....what's their current coach's position on this ?

Wait a minute, are you saying Dre smoked weed while he played at Bama? WTF? I don't believe this shite! Personally I don't care we run our program our way and they do their thing. When Saban was here we swept a ton of shite under the rug it's how he operates, Miles goes a different route.

You talking about the same bear bryant that suspended Joe namath from the bowl game for drinking?

ETA: I think he did the same to Stabler a few years later.

I'm sure you complained to somebody at LSU about that, am I right? And Miles didn't have a choice.

Do you want to guess why Duron Carter never saw the field?

Quite honestly, I can't think of a single time I ever saw an interview or picture of Dre that I didn't think the dude was absolutely toasted. Dude just had a permanent baked look in his eyes to me.

My hate for Bama is documented, but Saban gets this one right. When you are too strict, you get crucified for running a roque program. Better to not announce suspensions, but keep it in house.

and how do you suggest a coach do that? lie to the fans that a player is injured and thats why he isnt playing?

Name a significant player Saban has ever kicked off his team... Robby Green.

Jimmy Johns. You know, the players who get in trouble with the law. Kind of like how Jordan Jefferson should have been kicked off the team, or Periloux before his third arrest was it?

Link to the article about Dre actually failing a drug test while at Bama...or during the combine. Oh, you can't find one? No such article exists? Thought so.

TM7 failed multiple, consecutive, drug tests. The belief among some in the conference is that he failed more drug tests than he passed. Your coach - rightfully so - made the decision to move on and set the proper example for the rest of the team. Congratulations.

Brilliant rebuttal, you really put me in MY place. Except that you just help me make my point. There is no article about a failed drug tests despite the fact that not just one but two former Bama players were caught with weed. Do you honestly think they started smoking weed just after they got out of college? You shouldn't. So Bama's testing either isn't very thorough or, it gets handled "in house". Thanks for your help.
