Did LSU and Alabama compete against each other this year?
Honestly until this year I rarely see any gymnastics threads .

Auburn also won a national championship in women's track and field back in 2006 and their athletic department has more national championships as a whole if you exclude football. More proof that bammer is largely a one trick pony.
Meh... recent National Championships in:
Football
Gymnastics
Men's Golf
Women's Golf
Softball
Only school in the SEC that ranks in the top 3 in wins in all three major sports - Football, Baseball, and Basketball.
I'd say historically speaking, the Alabama athletic department is fairly well rounded, although we lack championships in other sports. We have won a lot of games/competitions at every sport that matters.

Congrats on having more flexible women that are better at splitting their legs open. No wonder you rednecks breed like rabbits
Yea it must really suck to have hot flexible women who like to frick on their campus. You're an idiot and an arse.

You have to love the double standards of bammers. Championships are the only thing that matter in football, but other stats are important in sports where bammer doesn't have many championships

Yea I love how Alabama fans can manage two separate opinions on two completely separate sports. I know it must be hard for your walnut Auburn brain to comprehend.

Okay, window licker.
You said we were a one trick pony. I used stats to point out that our athletic programs have won a lot, and historically - we're the most well rounded athletic department in the SEC.
And since you like to use Alabama as your measuring stick for everything you do - Alabama is better at pretty much every single sport imaginable, except swimming and riding horses.
So there's that.

huh? Alabama had two out of bounds called on them....unless I missed third.
They had 3. Same corner too which makes me think there was a broken board or something. Very bizarre to have 2 and a third in the same place is beyond weird
ETA: Alabama definitely is better but their new coach doesn't have the refinement of the difficult moves that Patterson did. The gap between AU and Bama is closing unless something changes

AU doesn't care about the 112-0 now, but wait until they break it. Holy shite!
You better believe it.

You are nowhere near the most well rounded athletic department in the conference, and the idea that bammer is better in everything
is as much of a fabrication as bammer going from 6 national championships to 427 in one day back in the early 1980's.
Auburn probably has as many or more SEC championships in at least half the sports both school's play, including women's basketball soccer, women's golf, men's tennis, cross country, men's track and field, both men's and women's swimming, equestrian, and volleyball,

You're the one trick pony. Sometimes, it's really funny to me. Other times I genuinely feel bad for you.
Right now, I'm getting kinda bored of you.
Go ahead and provide us with an article from 1938 talking about how we paid players.

outside of swimming Auburn has a pretty unremarkable athletic department. Pretty sure your swimming program has fallen off big time and you are running a deficit.
IN the last thee years, four Bama sports have won national championships.

Besides the men and woman swimming titles, there is a woman Track and Field Title. Three straight Woman Basketball NC runner ups. Final Eight Appearance in Mens Basketball (#1 Seed), College World Series Appearance. I would say that matches anything Bama has done.
Currently the Mens Swimming team is ranked 6th in the Nation.

Auburn has also won national championships in 4 different sports in the last decade. It is probably only a matter of time for women's softball considering our current coach won 2 national championships and went to the World Series 8 times at Arizona State
