Watching the game on tv and was curious, how many people does Bama’s Baseball Stadium hold. Always wanted to go watch a weekend series at that field. Looks nice.

Says 8500 on Wiki. 2700 of that is the Student section in right field though.

I don’t think so... but if it was a troll, you’re not the one who would look bad.

The new Joe is better, much better than before... unfortunately the team that calls it home isn’t better at all...

And won't be any better until money is spent on a decent coach.

Alabama has the “decent” coach. Bohannon is very well respected in the SEC.

Yeah it's not his fault Goff was a raging dumpster fire who somehow drove the program into the ground in one year.

The end of the Gaspard era was bad enough. Then Goff blew the roster all to hell and killed recruiting ties. Never seen so much damage done in 12 months by a single coach.

Is that the same stadium Bama had in the mid-80’s? I sat on that transformer in centerfield and watched State play there. Don’t think there was a centerfield wall or a parking lot back then.

That explains the brain damage.

Sewell Thomas Stadium was opened in 1948. But it has had renovations over the years. The one in 2016 basically razed it and started over.

The new stadium looks great! Did they build it in the same place? I thought I read Bama was going to build a new baseball stadium a different area, maybe by a river.

A stadium near the river was discussed. But they ended up building a new one on the same site. They spent the 2015 season at regions in Birmingham. The new park opened in 2016.
