Seems like a week or two out is when people usually need supplies. Thankfully, this isn't on the level of April 27, and so hopefully, it'll be easier to take care of the people who need it.

Bella..Probably right. There will be some immediate needs I'm sure, but the support that turned out this morning was overwhelming. I was pleasantly shocked at the turnout to help.
Nite... will do. Probably will be this evening at the earliest.

From my understanding, it's Northern Jefferson County. Trussville, Clay-Chalkville, Oak Grove. I'm sure I'm missing some areas.

I think you nailed it.. Center Point also. 23rd ave to 25th is probably going to be razed. The old Bama 6 theatre area, all the business have structural damage it looks like on the tv. there won't be many buildings repairable I think.

I know most of Centerpoint got wiped out as well as the Paradise Valley on Old Springville Rd and a neighborhood near Sweeney Hollow Rd. here in Pinson.
Prayers go out to anyone out there who was affected!

It always looks 100 times worse in person. Those look bad. Again, prayers to everyone.

That's crazy dude. The wind barely even blew here, just a little thunder and some heavy rain. The scariest part was a lightning strike that hit a little close to the house. I was just laying in bed and all of a sudden there was one of those bright purple lights, and a sudden crack and pop, like a ginormous balloon and just popped outside my window.

Those pictures make me sick. Thoughts and prayers go out to all of those that are dealing with this.

Same here. I had no idea it had gotten that bad until I got on here earlier. I can't imagine losing everything in a matter of seconds like that.

Unreal. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone from that area.

Ugh. Hate to see the damage and my thoughts are with all those affected.

And that Nortizzle guy was being a dick about the weather and mother nature came right up in his grill.

People thought you were absurd for asking us to stop talking about the weather man and keeping the thread open for everyone who only had access to TD for weather.

It really is. People have had a really hard year and don't deserve this. It's going to be a long spring.
