Feels like things are starting to swing the other way than this morning. More momentum for playing the season. NCAA and BIG 10 probably didn't expect this big of a blow back and thought they would get more support

Wholeheartedly support our student-athletes, coaches & staff and commend our leadership from the @SEC, @UofAlabama & @UASystem for their direction and guidance as we navigate these issues. #WeWantToPlay #RollTide

...were Alabama goes we will follow. Let 'em push their weight around a little. It can't hurt.

This afternoon, I met with our football team and staff to have an open conversation about playing football this fall. At the end of our discussion, I asked if they wanted to play football and the answer was a resounding YES.

This group of student-athletes have worked hard to prepare for the season amidst detailed and strict healthy and safety protocols. I can’t wait to see them on the field in Neyland Stadium.

We are blessed with some of the most passionate and hard working student-athletes in the nation. As administrators, we will fight for their health and safety as well as their opportunity to compete.

You are seeing more and more SEC leaders coming out today about wanting to play this fall. It's intentional.

After a strong push behind the scenes to ratchet things up, they have taken the fight to save the CFB season public.

Harbaugh has made a statement that he wants to play and the testing protocols have worked

If the big ten cancels this it I’ll be a big mistake in my opinion

To me it’s very simple, someone needs to come out and say these schools can’t be sued if someone gets sick.

Even though I think the players demands surrounding the virus and the protocols seemed reasonable, I wonder if that scared the presidents. Like if they don’t this or don’t do that they will be sued by a player if someone gets sick

There needs to be a waiver then you can play players

An Ohio State University source tells https://cleveland.com OSU would not vote to cancel Big Ten football in 2020, but it also does not expect a vote tonight.

To be clear regarding @B1Gfootball and their impending announcement - they are looking TO DELAY the start of the season NOT TO CANCEL.
