I went to UC-San Diego and the campus is an isolated, pretty controlled access, upscale state park surrounded by billionaire mansions in La Jolla CA where the majority of students are nerdy rich kids who got into the highly competitive pre-med and science programs.
I have a lot of family that attends or teaches at the University of Alabama. No possible way that UCSD has more overall crime than that campus, which I would still consider very safe in general.
The list seems like it's much more about how crimes get reported.

FTR - I am a 2x Texas Ex, living in metro Austin. Both kids went/go to ATM.
Austin and most large blue cities grossly under-report crime. In ATX, since the police de-funding fiasco and the election of a far left DA who regularly prosecutes police while letting criminals go, crimes are seldom reported unless someone died. Recently, a guy was whacking off in public and approaching women while doing it. Police wouldn't investigate, so the women got together and ID'd the guy. DA elected not to go after him. Then there's the case of the recent UMich grad who was murdered on 6th street by a stray round between gang bangers. The DA is all but throwing the case.
Austin did finally get the homeless situation at least partially under control, but that took a voter measure that the previous mayor refused to enforce, election of a new mayor who was willing to enforce, and the governor calling out the state troopers to enforce the law within Austin city limits.
In short, the report in the OP is based on trash data that has been significantly skewed in many cases to support a political agenda.

That is BS and you cannot prove it.
For this study, they used data gathered through the Clery act and compiled by Campus Safety and Security website, in order to determine which colleges, per the filters chosen were the “most dangerous” in the United States.
The school's admins reported the data.
Just because city/state officials underreport does not mean universities do it too.
If the data was so egregious aggy would sue the law firm that posted the results. They didn't!
Sorry, your defense of the women beaters at aggy is shameful.
During the reporting period 276 aggy females had crimes committed against them.

I think it goes deeper than that. He is what we used to call "hiding in the closet". He needs to just come out and let the world know that he is gay. It would explain his epic infatuation with draggieland.

UC Berkley had 582 incidents with a total enrollment of 45,307. That's a 1.3% chance of being involved in a crime.
Grand Canyon U had a total of 450 with an on campus enrollment of 24,600.
That's a 1.8% chance of being involved in a crime and GCU is a private Christian School. Hmmm
UC San Diego 1.0% chance of being involved in a crime.
And so on and so on.
Using your chart, Texas A&M had 485 incidents with a student population of 74,014. That's a 0.6% chance of being involved in a crime. Looks like A&M is much safer than the others on that chart. Lawyers should stick to law and let engineers and mathematicians do statistics.
Your lawyer website sucks at statistics.
Check this out. UTrans Austin had 790 reportable incidents in 2023. With a student population of only 53,082 that translates to a 1.5% chance of being involved in a crime on UTrans campus. I wonder why your lawyer website didn't pick that up?
