I know we have fun giving one another a hard, harmless time but majority of us want as many SEC teams in big dance to possibly wreck ACC, BIG 12, BIG 10 etc. from making final 4. I was excited when South Carolina got there couple years ago. I hate when bad coaching gets in the way of teams who have talent to make tournament.

We went 6-12 against NCAA Tournament teams.

We went 12-3 against non-NCAA Tournament teams

So 12 of the 15 losses were against tournament teams. How about 2015 ?

Pretty sure he's talking about 2015. We don't know who the 2019 tournament teams are yet.

So.....like I said, 2019 Alabama wouldn't be any better against that group than 2015 Alabama was.

The 2015 teams only losses to non-NCAAT teams was @ South Carolina (17-16) and @ Miami (25-13) in the NIT. Every other loss was to a NCAAT team.

I think it's illegal to fire black head coaches.

SEC Grants last year:

Nice trick throwing in NIT Teams (A&M and Vandy), I guess you thought it would help your narrative.

Only two teams in SEC that year had a record above .700.

LSU 11-7 .611 22–11 .667 9 SEED
Georgia 11-7 .611 21–12 .636 10 SEED
Texas A&M 11–7 .611 21-12 .636 NIT
Ole Miss 11-7 .611 21-13 .618 11 SEED
Vanderbilt 9-9 .500 21–14 .600 NIT

Florida did not play in the post season. Compare that to this years SEC.

Both teams sucked and we are in no way any better now than we were in 2015.

You are correct, that was a mistake.

Not sure how you could think this team that lost to bubble teams like Florida and twice to a sub-500 team like A&M would run through bubble teams slightly on the wrong side like Vandy in 2015.

Either way, there is no argument this team is "much better off" than it was in 2015. At best it's incrementally better. And being incrementally better than the last season of a guy who was fired isn't really much of a standard.
