I'm just going entirely off the list and the seat count provided on said list. Any additional information will be over my head when it comes to basketball venues.

Yeah Cameron is about 9,500 I believe. I went to the game a few weeks ago when AU played there… my first impression was that it was obvious that when Auburn designed Neville arena, they had to have told the architect that it wanted a modern version of Cameron. It was eerily similar in terms of how many rows, and the way they are configured.

Auburn always has thousands travel to the dump known as Coleman

I went last year. Auburn had a solid 20% or so… granted most of us were sitting in those awful corners at the top.

alabama's average get in price plummets when you take away the thousands of Auburn fans that drove the price up to $228.

Auburn always has thousands travel to the dump known as Coleman because it is a lot cheaper than paying to watch Auburn play a home game in Auburn.

For example:

Ole Miss - $3
Vanderbilt - $2
LSU - $40
Georgia - $47
Mississippi State $8
Florida - $26

The only other high dollar game is Kentucky and that's because they travel well too.

Yes, and if you take away Auburn's 2 biggest home games (Alabama, I guess using your logic because Alabama fans are driving up the price, and Florida) the average drops by $50. That's kind of how math works.

Midweek games are always tougher to sell out, which is the same at any school not in a big place because of travel.

Alabama
Average weekend get in price - $117
Average weeknight get in price - $10

Auburn
Average weekend get in price - $354
Average weeknight get in pirce - $127

It sucks prices are as high as they are now. But if Pearl retires and we struggle again for a few years, we aren’t endangered of having a lifeless empty arena that just makes pulling out of the slump even harder.
The arena will be lifeless if the team sucks. Hell, before Pearl was hired Auburn was losing to teams like Rhode Island in front of 4,500 fans in the exact same arena.

Did a former Bama player (Pringle) really choke on delivering an L to Auburn because the Auburn crowd in Columbia was too loud?

All I know about that former Alabama player is he played 2 games in Spokane last March before then advancing to the next round.

Coleman was a dump when I was a student in the 90’s when I was a student. Was really hoping for a new arena by now
Coleman really isn't that bad unless you're sitting above row 32 or so or in the corners. It's got 10-11k really solid seats and a bunch of bad general admission seats in the rafters.

Auburn's average get in price drops from $240.38 to $192 without Florida or alabama. That's a 20% decrease.

alabama's average get in price drops from $64 to $21 without auburn or kentucky. That's a 66% decrease.

Math and all.

That's because Auburn's arena is small enough that weeknight games still draw enough to be more than capacity, meaning there is a mark up on tickets available.

Alabama weeknight conference games typically draw 13-15K (drew 13,474 vs Oklahoma before students came back), which is 85-95% of capacity, but still not high enough to make it a sellout. It would also by 4-5K more people than Auburn Arena's capacity, so if you had that size arena the get in price would be much higher because it would be a sell out.

Again, it's not that hard to figure out.

Especially considering we weren't even sure he was going to make it up there. He played pretty well against you guys, too, but his free throw shooting bugaboo popped up at a bad time. He's having a nice season at Carolina.

Kentucky and North Carolina have many more seats in their arenas than alabama and their ticket prices are much higher.

The problem alabama has is no one wants to go to the dump Coleman all that much.

Got dang Auburn has a small arena. “Muh ticket prices!!” No kidding.. they should be playing their larger games at the local high school to seat more people.

Yes, Kentucky and North Carolina are Kentucky and North Carolina, arguably the two biggest brands in college basketball

I'll never understand the ticket price flexing from AU basketball fans. Seems like with the largest, most rabid, dedicated basketball fanbase in the entire world, their AD left a lot of money on the table by shrinking their home venue.

Ok. What's your excuse for Arkansas? They have thousands more in their arena.

Coleman might as well be legion field at this point. No one wants to go.

Arkansas, one of the.........10-15 largest and most loyal basketball fanbases in college basketball.

Are you serious right now? Kansas has a similar size arena and is harder to get into as well, just to go ahead and help you with your next one.

You have to make a six figure donation to even get on the waiting list for basketball season tickets.

They are making a lot of money off of basketball.

"The last priority list member that was able to purchase a pair of season tickets for the 2023-24 season had a basketball priority of $415,695. This number can fluctuate each season based on demand and the number of non-renewed seats."
