Auburn fans explaining why they’re so confident for this game:
Crowd noise: Didn’t realize crowd noise could block and tackle.
USF 2025: So if last year’s USF team is the measuring stick, wouldn’t Tulane beating USF by 35 points in 2024 make that a moot point?
Voodoo: Auburn hasn’t won an SEC home game since 2024 and is 5–15 at home against SEC opponents since 2021.
“We’ve never seen a DJ Durkin defense”: Durkin was on our staff from 2010–2014 and served as DC for multiple seasons.

In all seriousness, excited to play the Tigers. Wish we had them instead of the Texas schools which we seem to play every year.

Too early to say Auburn fans are confident. We are a bit of a broken fanbase because of the last five years. Fair to say that we are hopeful and we are beginning to believe. And as a whole, most of us (especially us older fans) are very excited about playing the Gators (one of my favorite games and I miss the rivalry).
I do think this one is a tossup. New coaches for both teams, both of them with a lot of potential but still installing their programs. We both need to be patient after the last few years.
Hoping for a great game and a good season for both of our teams. Just hasn't seemed right in the SEC the last few years with both our teams down. War Eagle!
