Auburn's Drive at the End Of 1st Half

On a 1st down play, Marshall ran up the middle for about 6 yards, and the refs stopped the clock at 1:06. The announcers were no surprise oblivious to it and never mentioned it, but the teams didn't really react. Anyone know why the clock was stopped? Auburn didn't call a timeout, and I don't think Bama did. I didn't see anyone on the ground injured, and he definitely did not get a 1st down. Weird thing is when they started the next play, the clock was at 1:11.
Did anyone else notice this? I was super drunk so didn't mention it yesterday, but I rewatched it last night while sober.

Our check cleared. However, it was smaller than the REC's. So they could only do so much for us.

Yeah, that was really weird. I think it was a clock malfunction, but everyone was acting normal on the field and sidelines like they knew what was going on.

I didn't think the clock started back for that play. Missed the reset to 1:11 though.

Someone said #86 or maybe #84 was injured. Still it was super weird. Zoomed in on Marshall the whole time.

Brent was already drunk and Jesse was re-applying the gel to his hair.

I definitely noticed it, and had (and still have) no idea why the clock stopped and why more time was put back on.

No one knows. Conspiracy Time!
All we have got is the Marshall Film, modern day Zapruder. You can see the Alien's in his Cold, Dead Eyes.

I think they stopped the clock assisting a Bama player off the field.

That'd make the most sense, but weird the announcers never mentioned it nor did the cameras show it.
But the lack of reaction from the players and the Bama sideline indicate there was a legitimate reason for stopping the clock.

I assumed someone got hurt and they just weren't showing them. It's the only explanation that makes sense.

Except that there wasn't a player down on that play. Weird but not that big a deal, stuff happens.

Saban wasn't raising hell so I assumed there was a good reason. He would have torn a refs head off if the clock stopped for no reason.

I was at the game, there was an injury they might not have shown on tv, Alabama had a dline man who immediately got up and walked to the sidely very slowly and somewhat gimpy, the refs saw this and treated it like an injury.

I just assumed there was an injury, but I thought it was weird too.

Different situation than I was thinking about. Head referee announced reset play clock to 1:13. Ashan limped off.
