Any fan that tries the "refs hate us, only like team x" needs to just stop right there. I've watched football long enough to realize that every team gets its share of bullshite calls going both ways.
No, we got a call in a meaningless game against Bama in 2004 that we still hear about today.
We also got a call against Arky in 2009 in a meaningless game as well.

Good pull.
Point being crying about the refs should be put away around the same time you stop getting orange slices at half time.

Yes. The Yellow line on TV is always the exact spot. Good work! PSSST...You can even see from your photo the yellow line is behind the chains as well.
Taking a guy out at his knee and marking a spot within 3 inches (using the arrow on the field as your guide) are totally the same things.

Wow, that was the dumbest thing I have ever read on here.

So, admitting we got some calls is "embarassing myself"?
You funny.
It was good to see you guys beat us fair and square last year. I will be Mr. Super Fan and admit that. No refs needed with 400 yards rushing. Congrats on that, BTW.

O'Rly
Instead of using the line, use the arrow by the by the "40" as suggested. the ball in his arm is around the base of the arrow, spot is at the tip. But I guess that is 3 inch different

We beat you fair and square every time we beat you. Refs make bad calls in every game. Sometimes they work for you and sometimes they work against you. Super homers only remember the calls that went against them and spin every close call or toss up into a bad call.

So much whining. Acting as if the other times weren't fair and square. This isn't you trolling, this is you honestly believing that the referees either have it our for lsu or are complicit in agreement to favor auburn.

It is. The arrows on the field are approx one foot long. I'll concede 6 inches. I already admitted he was behind the spot. My point was the yellow line isn't accurate. Don't use that. They even tell you during the broadcast it is an approximate spot.

I guess this was just a case where the refs were out to get Auburn and protect LSU

LOL. Uh. No.
2006 was not fair or square. SEC put its eggs in your basket because of your home schedule. But you keep believing in the fantasy.
Football is entertainment. I treat it as such, which is why threads like this are so fun for me. I'm literally laughing every time I hit "submit".

Nope, I remember ones that went FOR us as well. I posted two memorable ones this decade above.
This is the part where I leave the thread.
PS - Santa is real. Tell your kids.

So the guys you know, that are refs, they told you the SEC told them to call plays in favor of certain teams?

My bad. Referring to pic one where his helmet was. About a foot left of the arrow showing.
Sorry, trying to do 3 things at once while trolling. Each arrow is a yard long, BTW...

So the refs gave him about a 1.5-2 ft spot? I see your point, there was an SEC directive to help LSU win this game

No. Refs don't call plays. They call penalties.
