Are the Auburn fans really that confident about RS FR and true FR playing against SEC teams starting mostly grown men who are JRs and SRs???

LSU and Arkansas are going to curb stomp Auburn with those games being in Baton Rouge and Fayetteville, respectively. Obviously, most would say that they have a chance in the Iron Bowl.. but traditionally, (at least in the past decade or so) the best team has won the IB. So I am not sure how good of a chance they currently have to take one of those games.

Clemson is the only game in September that scares me.

Isn't the MSU game an early game? Those are typically tougher games for AU than the afternoon or night games aren't they? 2-2 or 3-1.

Depends on what team we are playing. Some of our soph, RS Fr, and Fr are more talented than some teams Jr and Sr. Just lack experience.

That seemed like a big problem under Tubbs, but hasn't been the case the last 2 years. I don't know if it is coincidence, a difference in pre-game prep or just an anomaly, but AU fans don't fear early starts the way we used to.

Both Clemson and MSU are early games.

When we play halfway decent teams, yeah we struggle. It's why Clemson scares me.

It's not, hell it wasn't last year. It will be a tough game no matter what anyone says

How many RS Freshman and True Freshman do you think will be starting for AU? Maybe 3 or 4 combined on both sides of the ball, unless some very talented young o-linemen beat out some vets for a couple of spots.

Theyre better on paper then you are, and I would think theyll be the favorites.

Their reasoning is that they have beat us more times historically and they have recruited better and have more talent on their roster.

They fail to remember that last year's game was VERY, VERY close, and without Cam Newton they would have lost to us.

I don't think it is auto, but we should win that game.

It is hilarious that you mock this reasoning and then say

MSU will be tough but it is at home, Clemson is the one that worries me. That is a team with a lot of seniors and an away game.

Early Vegas lines have Mississippi State as the favorite.
