So nobody has ever made the trip from baton rouge to New Orleans in one night?
I think its funny we win all the championships and people still hate LSU more.

I'm sure LSU has some cool people, in fact I know they do. But I had three a-hole experinces in one night in the state of LA.
Maybe LSU just really hates auburn.
Either way. Roll Tide.

I've been to a bunch of AU-LSU games in BR. I've had various experiences at the games and have ALWAYS worn AU gear.
Plenty of Tiger Meat and Tiger Bait outside the stadium before the game. Nothing overtly hostile, just some trash talk back and forth. My friends and I were hit by some drinks thrown at us during one game back in the late 90's (may have been the cigar game) from somewhere above us. Looked up, couldn't figure out who threw it and forgot about it.
That was about the worst experience (which didn't really upset me much anyway).
It has always been my favorite road trip but a lot of that has to do with the partying on Bourbon Fri before and Sat after the games and the game itself.
I will say the only time I have gotten in a fight related to a game was with LSU fans. But it was after the 2008 AU-LSU game and it was in Orange Beach. Ironically in a game LSU won, but 3 LSU fellas did not appreciate my display of emotions in that game toward their team and decided to take it up with me after the game at a different bar after they got their liquid courage up enough. Unfortunately.

I had a pretty shitty experience at Auburn in '08. Was standing on a bus to the stadium and had some old dude and his wife turn to me and go off on LSU, Tiger Stadium, Baton Rouge and the entire state of Louisiana. Completely unprovoked. It was the same year that we had a thread on the rant about tires being slashed and windows being busted out complete with pictures.

I'm convinced you're a young, hairless window-licker. That story you told earlier reminded me of the kid who shows up at rush and his voice cracks when he tries to tell a badass story about yelling at a guy to fight him. "Yea then I told him to say ok again and I was gonna beat his arse! Then he said ok! Then I walked back to the hotel and laughed. Yea I yelled that at him."
You're awful.
You're awful.

You realize it was a member of your fan base that whipped his nuts out and put them on an LSU fan's face don't you? Get off your moral high horse man.

some Auburn fans that have actually been to Tiger Stadium and not regurgitating some BS that they heard on the internet...

Been 4 times and for the most part it was just like any other SEC away game. Was never scared once, actually went out to local bars after the games a few times and everything was fine.

This. Most of the AU fans I know who haven't had a good time were teh kind of folks who get bent outta shape when an F bomb or 100 gets thrown there way. The approach is simple: laugh it off, drink a few beers/bourbons and enjoy the scene. It's different yes, but it's no Syria as mentioned above. If you think you're a tough guy, you'll probably have a bad experience. Personally, Tiger Stadium is one of my favorite places to see a game. Bring some thick skin and you'll be fine.

Jeez, what a bunch of bleeding vaginas in this thread. LSU is a phenomenal trip. I've been to every AU game in TS since 95 and never had a problem.

Here's what visitors need to know:
Go to a game at LSU with the intention of having fun and engaging in some good natured ribbing, and you'll have a good time and be fed.
Go to a game at LSU with a big head and try to start shite, LSU fans will finish it and you may not like the outcome

Exactly - it's the same rules as any other SEC game - there is nothing special about how to approach a trip to LSU unless you are prone to indigestion (from cajun food and corn dogs). You can easily find yourself in a huge mess by startin shite in any sec town.
I've had a great time and met lots of great people on 3 trips to BR.
