They have no room in the current playoff. Oregon and JMU as a night game is plain ridiculous. Give them their own playoff like the FCS.

And then we’ll hear about how shitty the Big 12 and ACC are compared to the SEC/Big 10.

If you want the best teams and the regular season to matter, go back to a 2 team NC or 4 team playoff. If you want expansion, don’t complain when a bunch of teams that don’t win their conference or don’t play in a conference don’t get in.
Are we still calling the ACC a “power” conference? Their overall sorry-ness caused this whole mess.

Just so I am not confused, Tulane is ranked in the top 12? Because if it was the 12 best teams then the top 12 ranked teams would get in, correct? Otherwise it is a pity bid. Congratulation

They will be in about 5 mins. And they won’t be #12.
The American is a top 4 conference this year. James Madison will get the G5 slot.

How many conference champions did LSU beat year?

Vanderbilt was top 10 when we played them and ended up 14th, so I counted them.

Not even close - #17. LSU was still top 10, so I can see how you’re confused though.

Did Tulane play 5 top ten teams? With 4 of those teams being away? With average coaching we would have won 3 of those games and ended up 10 - 2. Get out of here with that crap.

Bro I’m an LSU fan, but you can’t be serious counting Clemson in this example

Surely you don’t believe Tulane can line up tomorrow and beat any of those teams

I would like Tulane’s chances against any of them, especially Miami or Texas.

Tulane in over Miami, Vandy, Texas, etc is an embarrassment and needs to be fixed.

Miami - couldn’t even make their own conference championship over Duke, who Tulane beat in Sept

Texas - worked by Florida who lost at home to AAC USF, a 2 loss team that didn’t even make AAC Championship

Vandy - lost to Texas (see above), no wins against team currently ranked

who has Tulane beat? oh and 2 losses JMU would beat Tulane straight up

Got smoked on the road against #6 Ole Miss. Beat a middle of the pack Big 10 team (Northwestern). Beat a middle of the pack ACC team (Duke). Not to mention The American is top to down better than the Sun Belt.

Congrats on keeping within two scores of Louisville though. Maybe next year.

JMU is getting hosed. They need to make it in if they win out

JMU’s schedule is dogshit and they lost to the only P4 team they played (Louisville).

Pretty sure they still need help to make the AAC title game. They do have the best OOC wins from the G5s though for sure.

Hard to believe that’s the case when CFP ranking is the tiebreaker. Unless you think UNT or Navy could jump them even if Tulane keeps winning.

What is the actual tie breaker if Tulane, UNT, ECU, & Navy are all tied at 7-1?

CFP ranking

I’ve seen him connected to Auburn, but why? He’s from Texarkana

Born in Texarkana. He’s from Huntsville, AL.

Are the Saints cheerleaders getting thrown in the air and doing flips like in college, where the men are needed?

NFL cheer groups are more like the LSU Golden Girls than LSU cheerleaders, where there are rarely any men, but that's probably changed in recent years.

Are you sure about that?

46.06s split, still unreal. Was still the fastest ever until Zhanle beat it in Paris last year.

I know NOLA residents don't want to hear this but if you are wise you'll prepare for an exit plan like now. The writing is on the wall that NOLA is about to experience unprecedent dark times ... worse than Katrina.

I’ve lived here nearly my entire life and yeah, this is the straw that breaks the camel’s back…UNO enrollment decline
The shot of the cars riding the Claiborne overpass exit lane and cutting over into the Bridge lane at the last second made me irrationally angry.

I’m willing to bet the Werlein’s never believed in a million years Dickie would walk away from his first restaurant. Hopefully they can work something out because the last thing we need is another Willie’s Chicken Shack.

Not sure if it’s changed since they started expanding, but at some point Dickie Brennan & Co had all their corporate functions on the upper floors of the building too.

Slidell to NOLA does exist, different tracks. Come from the north not the east.

Correct. NOLA to Slidell is on Norfolk Southern track that goes along the lakefront and over the Lake Pontchartrain railway alongside the Hwy 11 bridge. New Orleans to BSL is on CSX track that goes down Chef and over the Rigolets Pass Bridge.
Hansen’s is the best - but not “wait an hour in the heat for a $7 snowball” better than the rest. Best time to go is when it’s raining.
