I wonder how much weight the selection committee gave to road wins. Kentucky had a dominant performance over Kansas at Kansas. Tennessee best road win was maybe Miss State?

I just hope Bryant makes a Cinderella run so Peter Kiss can get some attention. Just for the giggles.

It’s amazing how people/committee wanna disrespect the SEC. The #1 seeds went 0-4 against teams from the SEC. In no world should Indiana, Michigan, Rutgers should get in over aTm. Alabama finished 7th in the SEC but yet beat 2 #1 seeds. Then UT and Kentucky beats Kansas and Arizona with ease.

It is inexplicable. I say let all SEC teams wreak havoc on this tourney. Except LSU. Pissants. A&M has a legitimate gripe here.

I hate Texas A&M with the best of them, but they got absolutely shafted by not getting in.

How did Bama get a 6 seed?

Quality wins:

Gonazga
Houston
Baylor
Miami
Arkansas
Tennessee
LSU

I do not know but they may have more wins against tournament teams than most in the field. Their schedule was brutal, #1 SOS. I dont know if it still matters but the committee used to reward teams for "quality losses" rather than getting wins against scrub teams and Bama had several losses against tough competition had to play AU and UK 2x.

They are capable of Sweet 16 run but that is their ceiling. Also would not be surprised if they got bounced Rd 1.

When they are on, Bama can beat anyone. I still don't see them matching up well against Texas Tech though.

Bama can def make a deep run. But they could also lose this first game by 10+. Live and die by the 3.

Bama has the 9th best scoring offense in the country and they've had plenty of games where the 3 ball has been nonexistent. So, not really all that true.

Turnovers and poor defense will be the reason they lose any of the upcoming games.
