How so? I'll assume you are just another jealous UGA fan that really doesn't know that much about football.

It's not getting better any time soon

Oh really? Why not? Because I seem to remember some really shitty Auburn teams followed by some amazing seasons.

Wrong again. shite, even a broken clock is right twice a day and you are 0-3.

so we moved it just like Vince split up the UF/AU game decades ago.

Nice deflection. But...as you stated, it happened decades ago. Try living in the 'now.'

The only thing I am bothered by with this whole switch is the loss of tradition. Other than that, I will be more than happy to see UGA eff up Auburn's football season a month or two earlier than what's the norm.

Don’t worry, they will be back to remind us of (and brag about) the recent domination Georgia has over Auburn head-to-head...even though this thread is full of Georgia fans talking about how terrible Auburn is.

Owning Auburn is a huge delight for UGA fans, because Aubies take it so hard. I love to watch an Aubies face when I tell him/her I’m a UGA grad. You can just see it in their expression. Good stuff.

What does your face look like when you meet a UF Grad. Talk about one team owning another .

lolwut?

-we've won the last 2 in a row
-the series is split over the last 10
-we have the all-time series record by almost 10 games

I mean sure they owned the 90s and early 00s, same as we owned the 70s and 80s. Not gonna pretend like they haven't had some insane stretches of success against us, but I mean no UF fan today can claim to "own" UGA.

Yeah, sure

I'm sure they just laugh at your dumb arse for your team's futility the last 39 years like the Auburn fans here do.

21-11 the last 32 years is pretty much dominating, even with your two in a row.

goodness if that isn't gerrymandering the argument to fit your narrative I don't know what is. Hell why not the last 8 years? Or the last 1? Or the last 100?

Put Alabama vs LSU at the end of the season and move the Alabama-Auburn to around the middle of the year.

Texas and Oklahoma do it

Why is the last year more relevant? If you know anything about statistics you know the larger the sample the more reliable the information. Which shows UF has dominated UGA since the modern era of an expanded SEC.

well on the face of it, I think the most recent meeting between regular opponents is probably the "most" relevant, relatively speaking, since more facotrs are the same. Same coaches, mostly same players, etc. But I mean they all count the same at the end of the day.

Yet you dismiss the fact that we lead the all-time series, in other words have beaten them more than we've lost over the history of the series. But nah, apparently only the last 32 years make the cutoff lol

They do, but the vast majority of in-state rivalry games are played the last weekend of the regular season.

Ok, go back and show the overall history. Same with UGA vs AU.

Tis truth

In this thread, i haven't posted one thing about moving the game (other than it will be fun to be Auburn earlier in the season).

An auburn inferiority complex can take up your entire weekend. Funny stuff.

Just don't bring up integration. Letting black people play hasn't been kind.
