Maybe we all got lucky and he tried his luck with his marksmanship against the professionals in body armor.

(Not wishing at all any ill toward the fine professionals in body armor, btw... )

Yeah quite frankly I am tired of the fringe crazies for both teams. I want the friendly banter and smack talk during Iron Bowl week. There is no need for the vitriol and desire to bring the other school down.

The guys in the bulletproof vests don't appear to be in a hurry. Two ambulances arrived during the past 10 minutes.

It's clearly not even about football for those people.

The coward probably fell to the ground and peed. SWAT and national authorities are in kevlar and body armor, he was covered in red dots before he knew it.

Same here. There's a reason I don't go to either rabid site and have distanced on here from several threads when certain posters are in them or around. I grow weary of it, and hope this board can get back to the way it was in 08 when it started, mostly good football take, with the occasional, good natured, jabs.

Like I said earlier...they hate the other team more than they love their team. Very sad way to live your life.

If anyone is trying to make this about football instead of what happened, they are shitty human beings.

Ding, ding, ding!!!!

This is nothing more than a senseless tragedy that could happen anywhere. It's a sad commentary on our society when a young man thinks shooting someone is the way to solve a dispute. Lives were cut short, needlessly, and families are grieving. Not to mention the POS has 2 children, by 2 different women, both of whom have pursued him for child support. They won't get that now, but 2 more children will grow up underprivileged and without a father in their lives. The cycle continues.

I hope the guy gets his last round of booty in that he killed 3 people over.

Ambulances will be for precautionary. Not a certainty there has been any shooting as of yet.

Agreed I have taken a different tone and direction with my own posting. Why can't there be a respect that exists. I will still call out BS though.

I have been asked to move from my location because the US Marshals said I could be in the line of fire. I acquiesced.

You'll read about them in the newspaper in about 15 years.

I received indirect confirmation that this incident is related to the Auburn triple homicide. Just a formality, sure, but now we know.
