Is he a member of a national gang? The police should have been able to determine that from his Tats... That would allow him to go to safe houses in other cities.

If so, they will find him eventually but this will NOT go quickly.

Rudolph had army training and grew up in the Nantahala

Murphy NC area is far more off the grid and easier to escape than anywhere AL, plus Rudolph had poeple from the area helping him in a survivalist aspect.

He'll end up in Atlanta, New Orleans or Houston. Maybe Memphis.

You're probably right - I was thinking of him getting further away where the cops wouldn't be on the lookout for him.

I agree with Bella. He'll eventually be caught. He'll do something stupid and they'll find him. Probably soon, because he won't be able to stay away from technology. He'll have to call someone, put something on facebook, etc. He won't be able to resist.

Speaking of Rudolph, my roommate at UAB was the sole person who brought down Rudolph. We were living in a dorm literally a block away from the clinic Rudolph bombed in Bham.

I was sleep and my roommate was washing clothes when the bomb went off. Everybody was like WTF...roommate goes outside and sees Rudolph walking away from the sound while everybody else was walking towards it.

If you know about the southside of Bham...Rudolph walks from the southside, hikes up Red Mountain. My roommate follows him but loses him...gets out to call police...while on phone with police he sees Rudolph get in his truck...and gets his license plate#....Rudolph=identified

The craziest thing is a couple of months after the bombing, roommate seemingly disappeared off the face of the earth. I haven't heard or talked to him since 98. Me and my other roommates had no idea he was the one who identified Rudolph until after Rudolph was convicted and the Govt released witnesses names.

But yeah, I doubt lil woosie can make it in the wilderness 5 years like Rudolph.

This just gave me chills.

Dr. Matthews took out my wisdom teeth, and his office was right down from the bombing. Which part of Red Mountain did he hike up?

Also, people are going to stop helping soon and he will be on his own. Then he will be left to commit more crimes (exposing himself more to capture) or turn himself in.

The part going up by the TV stations.

He hiked up to the parking lot of the TV station. Walked past the Vulcan to a side street near the McDonalds. Thats where he hoped into his truck.

Summary of his contribution.

After trying to find this guy and reading this, I think he may have changed his name to avoid any exposure. I also think he got half of the $1 million reward.

To this day, this still pisses me off. I'd tell you to thank your former roommate for me, but it appears you haven't seen him in a while.

I cringed when I saw his picture. I would spit on him but he'd probably like the reaction.

Thanks, haven't seen that before. Everything has finally come full circle.

Like I said...him, me and my other roommates were really cool. A month or so after the bombings he like disappeared. In college a lot of people came and went so after we didn't hear from him we didn't think much of it.

Over the years we had always wondered what happened to Jermaine for him to not even call us. Everybody knew there was a student that identified Rudolph but we never thought it was somebody we knew.

After they put Rudolph away, one of my roommates called and told me who the witness was and it made sense why he had disappeared.

Reading that article leads me to believe he wants to stay anonymous.

He went off to Harvard law (got arrested protesting for higher wages for the janitors) and then the 2006 article about the reward and there being an issue with one of the people receiving the award lead me to speculate that he wanted to remain anonymous and changed his identity in 2005 or 2006.

That, or he has kept such a low profile that he is nowhere to be found on the google.
