AUBURN- 2 head coaches, a losing season, and losing SEC records in the past two years.
First of all, I never called AU the elite of the SEC...just head and shoulders above MSU. Second, I like how you use your date range to leave out AU's '04 SECC. However, I'll play along. These are the records since '05:

Alabama 49-17
Auburn 42-21

Ole Miss 28-32
MSU 23-37

And for the record, Auburn does have a better SEC record than MSU since '07...and that includes the clusterfrick that was the '08 season.

It all stems from the play of the QB. Todd sucked it up that game. The running game isn't effective in Malzahn's offense when a noodle arm qb is slinging it around. There will be several different elements in the offense this year.

Here's rationale, we beat them 49-24 last year. We added Cam who provides another demension to our offense. We have defensive depth. Hardly any players left last year. Anything else ?
