Last in conference is objective.

Vandy has 13 3 stars and is ranked 48th.
UK has 12 3 Stars and ranked 32nd.

Auburn has more 4 star players than both combined and our player avg per recruit is top 15 in the nation.

Yall said this last year when Auburn was ranked 80th and finished 20th.

Relax, no cause for panic.

The fact that you have to explain this to others and have to use Vandy and UK as examples means there should probably be a bit of panic.

Auburn will end up top 20 in recruiting as it is a numbers game with these rankings. They have all 4 stars right now so it might end up pretty good, but I no nothing about their pipeline with big time recruits. None of the ones committed are in the top 100, but they will jump a lot of teams with just a few more 4 stars.

Harsins plan seems to be take 10-12 HS guys then fill needs with transfers. He did this with the WR group this year. He doesn't have a Saban/Kirby recruiting strategy where they offer everyone. He has been extremely selective with offers. They have to meet certain criteria and meet his staffs ratings. It is fine if it works, but you have to produce on field. There have been some 4* AL/GA guys interested and he didn't seem interested in taking. It is frustrating without seeing on field results, ATM.

If I remember correctly, a lot of your 4 and 5 stars are 75% skill players. It wouldn't do a team any good if you don't have the offensive linemen to block and the defensive linemen to stop the run.

I would guess some good recruiting classes get dropped down the rankings when some teams focus solely on recruiting big uglies to rebuild programs.
