I think I remember hearing that coach rock called him a "must get" for this class, or something like that.

His list won't grow because he just committed.
Anyways, he's raw as hell. Good athlete, lots of potential. I doubt he ends up being rated anything over a 5.6.
Wouldn't worry about the *'s. Three current commits are slated for a * push before signing day. It's a good looking class but like we saw last year our class isn't going to be special until January.

If that's the case then I'm on board.

I think I read that he's only played one year of football.

That doesn't happen with every player. He'll be rated higher, I guess I should say.

Tubs would be getting killed right now with some of the recruits Chiz is signing. A couple of projects are always ok, but it seems like he might be taking on more than a few.
Exactly. When the coach is new and popular, the 2 star guy is "underrated" or a "sleeper with high potential." When the coach is losing support, the recruit becomes exactly what he is, a lightly recruited guy.

Tubb's recruit hardly ever made it to campus.

He is a solid defensive linemen and we need lots of them. defensive and offensive linemen are a priority for this staff as their intention is to have the most dominant lines in the SEC, similar to Pat Dye's ideology of we will be the most physical team on the field.

The difference between Chizik's 3*'s and Tuberville's 3*'s so far is that Chizik's qualify.
Tuberville never had issues with getting talent. He had issues with getting that talent on campus.

Chizik is taking these guys in the summer, which means he must think very highly of them.
In his last few classes, Tubs was taking guys in January that no one had heard of, or who had no shot at qualifying.
...or at least that's what I'm telling myself.

6-5, 235 and a 4.6? I'll take it.

My only beef with the Auburn fan base is that they don't understand recruiting.
