Just curious how do you think that staff is going to compete against the rest of the West? Lsu and your Daddy Saban are out of your reach. Lane and Arkansas are getting ready to pass you by. Your only hope of a winning record in the west is by playing Mississippi State 6 times and then you're probably only break even.

Our last DC was 9-36 as a HC, and he worked out fine.
We took a 5-19 HC and turned it into a national championship. That is the difference between us and USCe.

The barn is saving about 4 million per year in salary (Gus vs Harsin) so they can actually pay off that 21 million in 5 years with that saving. Cutting Steele at 2.5 to the new guy at 1 million less over 5 pays all the loss on Steele plus money in the bank when the 5 is done.

I'm just really relieved that we got rid of Muschamp holdovers and to get paid on top of that along,with knowing we helped with the demise of auburn football, is the icing on the cake.
