Lose great center, wide receiver, and very effective quarterback and running back. Also lose top 2 tight ends

Could be better If Jeremy Johnson is an excellent quarterback and can consistently hit recievers duke Williams, Melvin Ray, Ricardo Lewis, etc. 2 5 star running backs will be running behind a offensive line that was average in 2014.

The main question will be if auburn can offset the loss of a great dual threat quarterback that was also a decent passer with JJ. JJ is considered to be a great passer but is he that much better than NM? Marshall probably had better arm strength

If jj plays like cardale jones then auburn will be tough to beat in 2015.

Road trips to lsu, arkansas, a&m with home games vs bama and georgia will all be interesting...

Louisville, ole miss, state, and kentucky are not threats to beat auburn next year

Different, but probably about the same numbers wise.

Should be better this year, but hard to say for sure until you see it on the field.

Duke Williams is solid, but what's the rest of their OL looking like? I still like Gus a ton as a coach and so I think their O should still be fine.

UL loses some guys, but BP will make it interesting. Still think AU will have a solid year.

AUs Offense will be better next year, for two reasons:

1. JJ and the passing game will be much improved. Which will open up the running game for Robinson and Thomas. AU had one of its best years rushing the ball under Gus, when Chris Todd was the QB. Ben Tate was able to get a lot of yardage, when defenses where worried about the passing game. JJ is a much better passer than Todd and a run threat. AU has plenty of depth with the OL, and should be an improved unit next year.

2. AUs Defense should compliment the Offense for the first time since Gus arrived. More Defensive stops, more defensive opportunities. AU Defense forced punts less than 25% of the opponents Offensive series the last half of the year.

Offense will be different. We lose A couple guys on the o line but it should still be solid. We had a lot of guys get playing time last year.

We still have some good receivers with Williams, Louis, Ray and Davis. Plenty to work with . What should be a good backfield

I have to believe our defense will be more solid this year (not saying a lot) so I do not think it will be quite as necessary for the offense to roll up points.

I expect to pass more this year but in the end, we will be a run first team with a couple of good backs to work with

If AU Defense could have produced two extra stops per game last year, they would have been in the Playoffs. Two extra stops is a lot for a team that has an average D, but would not have been that much for a team that forced punts like AU did. Again, AU forced punts less than 25% of the time.

Yes.

Jeremy Johnson is different than Nick Marshall so our offense will change a little when it comes to dynamics. Reese Dismukes is a big loss but we are excited about Austin Golson (who started for Ole Miss as a true freshman). Sammie Coates is a huge loss in terms of stretching the field and I don't think we have anyone else like him. Cam Artis-Payne was a solid back and reliable, yet nothing "special"...

Irrelevant, IMO. The tight end is hardly used in our offense. CJ Uzomah played wide receiver more than tight end and Brandon Fulse was our h-back. As you can tell, neither played as a traditional tight end.

Yeah, absolutely. Auburn upgraded at running back and wide receiver as a whole. Jeremy Johnson won't run as much but is a better passer, so I say a wash when it comes to quarterback. I don't know what to expect from the offensive line, but we have awesome star power there. There is talent.

Jeremy Johnson is no where near the runner Nick Marshall was, but Nick Marshall was no where near the passer Jeremy Johnson is (although Nick Marshall did improve a good bit from his first start until his last start). Nick Marshall's arm strength was exceptional and Jeremy Johnson can't match that, but he has already surpassed his accuracy.

IMO, Jeremy Johnson's skill set is much more like Jameis Winston than Cardale Jones.

Auburn should be favored in all, IMO.

Louisville is coached by Bobby Petrino, so that game scares me. Mississippi State always finds ways to keep it close against Auburn, but I'm glad we get them at home. Not too worried about Kentucky, Ole Miss, LSU or Texas A&M. Arkansas might be a tough road trip, but will Arkansas be able to score with Auburn?

Patrick Miller was never a consistent starter (not a big loss) and Chad Slade is easily replaceable.

Reese Dismukes, on the other hand, is going to be hard to replace.

I think they will be a much more balanced, and therefore a better offense. That being said, I think that there numbers will be close to the same. They will be more efficient, but they will operate differently.

Not worried about lsu? Lol

Good luck stopping fournette. Also, they will have an answer at qb this year. It won't be the same 7-41 lsu team

AU best weapon on Offense, is a Muschamp led Defense.

No, not really.

He's good, but he can only do so much in that one dimensional offense.

They might have a labeled starter, but both options suck.

I don't expect it to be. However, IMO, they still aren't anything special. Not only is their offense suffering from bad coaching, but now their defense is. They have a lot to prove this season.

Miller wasn't bad, but easily replaced. Can't say the same for Dismukes. However, we should add Alex Kozan off of injury and Austin Golson, the ole miss transfer, will be eligible.

Slightly worse, but we'll see a nasty Defense from them.

I don't see the points coming as easy for Auburn but believe Muschamp creates a top 10 defense. Auburn will probably be top 3 in the West but I wouldn't say with confidence that they blowout anyone in the West. It's going to be a dogfight and there are no easy games. Ole Miss, State, LSU, Bama, and Arkansas will all be problematic.

Nick Marshall made a flawed offense look very good at times. I don't see how Auburn is better without him?
