Interesting. When did they move? She's got other family still her. I met her, Jimbo and her parents at a dinner here about 2 years ago. I was under the impression they lived here...when they said they lived here.

I don't listen to Finebaum.

Which is why you get him now. He has only been a HC for three seasons(this being his third.) Get him now while you can and while he is arelatively affordable.

Top 5...I started a thread a while back where I thought he was a better coach than Saban. Bobby can win without getting top talent. He had Arkansas knocking on the door for a national title.

My understanding is that it wasn't a finebaum him caller, but actually finebaum himself who mentioned this. Says he asked someone connected to the Auburn AD to comment on whether or not this was true, and they refused to comment. I think we all know what that means.

Petrino is a top 5 coach in CFB IMO.
When you can win at AR, you're doing something right. He gets solid QB's every year, and develops them. He gets RB's and WR's that fit his system perfectly, and develops them really well.
His biggest downfall IMO is, he doesn't make the right hires on defense. He hasn't proven that he will hire that great DC. He would probably come into AU, and fire BVG.

This guy doesn't listen to Finebaum, doesn't have the time to. This news didn't come from a radio show.

Parents divorced and mom still lives here? The guy she with was not Candi's birth father and Candi didn't refer to him as "dad".

Then he is not a Top 5 coach if he cant even hire a quality DC.

He might be candidate on the auburn side but he is crazy to take a step down from the Florida program to go to auburn.
This. The Delusion is widespread in here. Think about this for a second. Trooper and Luper have been pulled off the recruiting trail from what is presumed to be NCAA indiscretions. That means that there is a very good chance sanctions could be a possibility. jay Jacobs and Tim Jackson are known problems within the Athletic Dept., based on their relationships with certain powers behind the scenes. It is a program that is losing recruiting battles in their backyard to Florida State, Alabama, Georgia, and to a lesser degree LSU.
Who in their right mind is going to sign up for that Barrel of Laughs? Gruden? Jimbo Fisher? Patterson? Not likely. The only one that may fit is Petrino, but I'm not sure any new AD would step off the cliff that soon after hire....

I think that was when BVG was down at Ga Southern not being a HC.

So winning double digit games at AR, a place where it's almost impossible to recruit to, means you're not a big time coach?
He's 2nd to none when it comes to player development on offense.

You just described Houston Nutt.

Id say there is no argument to that.

Knocking on the door of a nation title? what?

Which IMO, wouldn't make him a top 5 coach.
